In this challenging season ARK is committed to supporting existing foster carers, and encouraging others to step into training so more kids can be placed in loving homes, throughout National Foster Care Week and into the future.

The need grows even as people’s capacity is stretched. Kids are entering the system at a greater rate, but few carers are being trained to care for them.

As you can imagine, remote learning and various stages of lockdown have added pressure to families, and have reduced the flow of new carers into the system.

For both these reasons the system is under greater pressure than ever.

We need to press on!

During these challenging times we want to ensure ARK can continue to recruit and support as many foster care families as possible, right across the nation.

Bottom line: We need more carers!

48,000 kids in the system, 23,000 carers.

ARK’s mission is to recruit godly families into foster care in Jesus’ name.

Join us this National Foster Care Week as we continue advocating for foster carers, resulting in a hope & future for vulnerable kids.
